Summary: Carey's first Blue Marlin

Full Report:

After a long battle, this 511 lb Blue Marlin died after repeated attempts to release it. Rather than feed the sharks, we boated the fish, took it home, had the meat smoked, and distributed among friends. Great job, Brian with the smoker!

Summary: New Big Rock Leader

Full Report:

We had an exciting day out on the water! We weren't catching anything in the morning so we picked up and ran. We didn't have the lines in the water for more than 30 minutes when we hooked up with a big blue on the flatline with a Breakfast. We boated him knowing he was 110" and headed to Morehead for weigh-in. The fish weighed in at 465.3 lbs. putting Hatteras Fever II in first place in the Big Rock Tournament. This was one heck of a first blue for our angler, Taylor! Good job to the boys Jack and Chase.
