Excellent dolphin fishing for the whole fleet. We were just marlin fishing today, but several very large mahi attacked the big baits. We also hooked and lost a large Blue Marlin which had crashed a teaser at the very stern of the boat. Congrats to Suzanne-a 45lb. DOLPHIN on her first trip to the Gulfstream.
Let the pics tell the story.

Great morning of dolphin fishing. We caught all the nice gaffer dolphin the party wanted to take home and eat. We decided to put some marlin baits out and try to catch a marlin. Within minutes a 500lb. plus Blue Marlin had crashed the bait and had started jumping toward the boat. I had to put the boat on plain to keep the marlin from jumping in the cockpit. She immediately reversed directions and in what seemed like less than 30 sec, she had taken almost 500yds of line. The line drag inthe water put too much pressure on the hook and it straightened. Boy what a high and a low in just a few breaths. The white marlin we hooked minutes later and jumped off seemed Ho-hum. What a thrill and excitement the Big Blue Marlin gave us. Thank God for Blue Marlin!!!

As the sunrise pic shows we had a beautiful day in the Gulfstream. We went to try to catch a Blue Marlin and a few dolphin . We got lucky and did both.
After catching an extremely large White Marlin and a citation dolphin yesterday, John toped it off today with a 400lb class Blue Marlin.
